For the past couple of months I’ve been working to come up with a new unique bracelet. I tinkered with various materials and made ones braided, claw clasped, toggled… but can’t help to fall back on stretch cord. I’m in my low maintenance era, and rolling jewelry onto my wrist is just so dang convenient.
I’m very much a basics kind of girl, and assume many others, like me, prefer hassle-free jewelry when it comes to everyday accessories. So what will work?
Low and behold – my discovery of magnetic clasps! I tested it out and was pleased with the strength quality. Though it takes a little more effort in comparison to stretch bracelets, it is still fairly simple to put on and take off.
So here’s to introducing our first stainless steel magnetic clasped bracelet! It is a made with a silver nylon cord and knotted with one facet white jade bead, and two 925 sterling silver beads. The bracelet length is adjustable and can fit wrist sizes 4.25 to 8 inches.
Hopefully this will be the first to many more bracelets, and necklaces using magnetic clasps!
